The compact E1 12-fader control surface and associated ip88cb Console Audio Blade provide all the networked control, mixing, and I/O needed for small to mid-sized studios at a price comparable to similar sized standalone analog consoles. The E1 features an integrated LCD Monitor for metering and control, a streamlined user interface with password protected access to complex functions via LCD display and touchpad, and 4 Main Mix busses as well as Control Room and Studio Monitor outputs with selectable sources from the audio network. Complex Mix Minus setups are made simple thanks to per channel Mix Minus output with selectable reference mix and talkback interrupt. You also get auto switching between off line Mix and on line Mix Minus per channel. The E1 also offers a soft assigned programmable switch per channel (default mode is A/B Source Select, which emulates traditional broadcast consoles) and 99 show presets. Of course the E1 will work just fine with Wheatsone TDM products, too! To use with the ip88cb, simply plug each into an Ethernet Switch.

The ip88cb integrated I/O Console Audio Blade features two mic preamps with phantom power and gain trim with XLR inputs, four stereo (8 mono) analog line inputs on RJ45 connectors, four AES inputs on RJ45, four Stereo (8 Mono) analog line outs on RJ45, four AES outputs on RJ45, Control Room and Studio Monitor outputs on XLRs, and Cue and Headphone outputs on RJ45. It also offers 12 programmable logic ports, front panel metering for all busses and outputs, and a Gigabit port for connection to the Wheatnet-IP network, all in a 1RU enclosure. Additional Blades are easily added to the audio network to support larger I/O requirements.
