Audion's VoxPro PC software system is the fastest, easy-to-use two-track recording and digital editing system used today by deejays, producers and reporters at stations nationwide. VoxPro PC software uses an optional hardware USB- or Serial-port controller (highly recommended #VOXPROCU or VOXPROCS) for fast recording/editing as well as on-air "Hot Key" playback. In addition to importing and exporting files, the system is seamlessly networkable, allowing files to be moved instantly back and forth between the production room, on-air studio and newsroom.

Designed by on-air talent, VoxPro PC software is optimized to quickly record and edit voice-overs and phone conversations for on-air use. The single screen interface with large full-color sound window displays your recording the instant you make it. Masters are non-destructible. Edits are stored in their own folder on the same page (and unlike other software products, all edits remain with the original file). Everything is easy to see, easy to edit, and easy to get on the air.

All VoxPro PC users have their own password protected space where they can create their own recordings and Hot Keys. Anything recorded can be assigned for instant playback when the corresponding Hot Key is pressed. Hot Key titles appear on the control panel's backlit LCD directly above the corresponding key.

VoxPro PC 4.2 Features:
• AGC: VoxPro's AGC boosts the timid and limits the loud on either or both channels. Say goodbye to caller levels that are too low and hello to consistent levels!
• Markers: This is so cool. Place markers while recording or playing back by pressing the 'M' key on your computer keyboard. Write a note for the marker. All markers with notes are listed in a floating window. Double clicking a marker note title takes you to that mark in the recording. Right clicking a title allows you to edit the note, playback from that marker or go to the marker. Great for interviews, baseball or football games. Anything that will require documentation of "points of interest" in the file.
• Auto-Network: Forget about dealing with IP addresses and computer IDs. VoxPro workstations connected to your station's LAN automatically detect each other and stay connected, allowing users to access their password protected accounts from any VoxPro workstation.
• Zoom: Press the Q key on your computer keyboard or the zoom key on the optional VoxPro control panel and the wave form window view zooms in 100 times for very precise editing. You can even playback files in the zoom position as the zoom effect stays on until the Q or zoom key is pressed again.
• Auto-Import: VoxPro users can choose any folder anywhere on the station's LAN and have VoxPro check that folder every 30 seconds for any incoming media files. If a file is detected it automatically gets "sucked-up" and into the user's current folder.
• EZ-Export: If you find yourself continually exporting to one particular folder either on your VoxPro computer anywhere on the station's LAN, you can set up VoxPro to always export only to that folder with the EZ-Export right click command when a file title is highlighted.
• Standard WAV format files: VoxPro has abandoned the proprietary file format used in previous versions in favor of a standard RIFF WAV file format. The result is a much more robust, fault tolerant version of VoxPro.
• Auto-record allows the user to rapidly record a series of separate files by simply clicking the record button once for each new file
