The popular Alesis Monitor One MkII is a compact near-field reference speaker with wide frequency response, accurate transient reproduction, clear imaging and high power handling capability. After the original Monitor One became a favorite of home and professional studios alike, Alesis introduced the new MkII version, with even better sound and specs. Alesis has included a new 6.5" polypropylene low-frequency driver for tighter, more accurate bass response and matched newly redesigned, 1" pure silk-dome, high-frequency transducer for even smoother, more accurate detail. They improved the overall frequency response, now 45 Hz-20 kHz, and coupled it with more efficient power handling. The Monitor1mkII also includes magnetic shielding to allow use in close proximity to video and computer monitors. Connectors are 5-way binding posts on 0.75" centers to accept heavy-gauge speaker wire, banana plugs or spade plugs. 8.5"W x 15"H x 10"D; 15 lbs. each. Sold as pair.
